Todmorden

Todmorden is one of the Yorkshire in Bloom nominations to the Britain in Bloom competition for 2007 and their website can be viewed by following the links.

Skipton

Skipton is an historic country market town located at the south of the Yorkshire Dales.

2005 marked a return to the Yorkshire in Bloom competition for Skipton, after their last entry in 1989. The Skipton in Bloom committee are keen to build on the enthusiasm generated in 2005 and have some ambitious plans for 2006.

Wetherby

Wetherby has been involved in Britain in Bloom since 1989 and has been extremely successful at all competition levels.

After winning the Town category at National level in 1998 this was followed by a Gold award in the prestigious Entente Florale European competition in 1999. Again in 2002 Wetherby achieved a silver gilt award in the National competition and has been consistently successful at regional level with Yorkshire in Bloom having won their category seven times in the last eight years.

Swanland,

A Yorkshire Wolds hilltop village dating back to 13th century is entered again in the Small Country Town category (although it still retains a village atmosphere). Swanland won their category in 1997 & 1998 and has won several good placings and certificates of merit. The Swanland entry is organised by the Swanland Village Association who have their own website (follow link above).

Harrogate

Harrogate was entered in the Britain in Bloom competition in 2003 winning the Large Town Category with a Gold Medal and were nominated into the Entente Florale Competition 2004. The Award Ceremony was held in September in Aix-les-Bains, France and Harrogate won a gold medal in the City Category
