Yorkshire receives Awards at Britain in Bloom Finals

Luddenden and Whitby both received Gold awards at the 2011 RHS Britain in Bloom UK Finals held on the 25th September at St Andrews Fife.

Whitby is the category winner and best of the Coastal Towns ( up to 12,000 inhabitants) Entries.

Luddenden the Category winner and Best of the Village entries

Silver Gilt Awards have been given to

Shadwell ( large Village )

Dunnington ( Small town)

Ilkley ( town )

Woodlesford Leeds (urban community)

and York (city)

Congratulations go to Vera Varley of Ilkley who received an RHS Britain in Bloom Community Champion Award
